Midget 58 Season 2010 - 2011

Since the last update it feels like not much has been done but we are still moving towards racing this season. At this stage it is hard to give an accurate date of when we’ll hit the track because there has been a number of things that we have had to rely on other people for. I certainly hope we are ready to go in January some time but lets wait and see. I want to thank everyone that has supported MRT so far this season. You know who you are. We will be working hard for you this season.
This season the number 58 midget will look a bit different with a brand new motor and some upgrades to the Harris Chassis.  We also have three new sponsors on board so the car will be sign written in Airport Tyre Worx Colours. Thanks also to DR TRANS, Absolute Electrical and Simply Good Websites. 

 Monday 25th October 2010
Well the new season is now upon us. It was great to see some new faces to the Midget ranks at Huntly Speedway on Saturday. With some 35 midgets registered I hear this is going to be another really competitive season.
I am well and truly back from my dream holiday in the States and have been focusing on the season ahead. We are a little behind and will miss a few meetings at the start of he season but are hoping to be racing ASAP. The trailer has been freshened up over winter and will look great after it’s painted and sign written again.
We will have a new motor this year to power our Harris chassis. It will be one of its kind and we are all excited about doing something a little different.
Frosted Glass by design has been with us for 3 years now but will not be returning as our naming right sponsor this year. They still continue to support MRT in the 2010/2011 Season as a support sponsor. House of Travel Albany is also staying on board along with 0800 Beater but there will be 3 new sponsors to be announced next month along with Garage 9 we should have a great season of racing ahead.
In the mean time I will be crewing Dave Gick up until we are ready to race.
